I spent the last week at Zebegény Painting School and continued experimenting with coloured backgrounds and complementary colours. This pastel is painted on pink background and appreciates the ad-hoc compositions of the back yard.
Complementary colour study with red violet/purple and yellow green – to myself I call it pink and green.
Playing with the base colours, blue, red, yellow. The printer would say CMY.
Playing around taking two colours from the palette at a time. The original painting is with black berries of privet at winter time.
