Neil Gaiman: Neverwhere – The London Below where the lost things had fallen between the cracks, and while London Above lives it’s present, down there beside the ancient Londinium the London fog, the pea-soupers still poisoning the air, and at Earls’Court station the Earl still rules his court.
The 3D illustration was made with papercut technique – black carton figures are casting shadow on an inkdrawing background. The Tube station names are all hints of the lost old things – at least our protagonist will follow them for sure.
